Spring Has Arrived!

Spring has finally arrived and with it brings an update of our experiences!

One of our family’s most recent focus has been gladly supporting the Belleville Bulls OHL Hockey Club during the 2012-13 season and run towards the OHL Championship.  The team had a great year and reached the Eastern Conference Championships but lost the great battle in a seven series game to the Barrie Colts.  Here’s a picture of this year’s team, a group of young men of which we are very proud to be associated.

2013 marks Lenbrook’s 35th year in business and it is neat to see how our products have changed, evolved and new ones brought into the mix.  We recently launched a new brand called Bluesound, a really neat digital music system; it is an app based platform that will stream music in and around your home.  We have applications whether you use Android™/iPod® products.  Another cool new product added to the Lenbrook lineup is our series of PSB M4U headphones which have been getting rave reviews. I’m looking forward to some upcoming international travel as Lenbrook showcases these products at various shows and conferences.

Just to back up a little, the end of the summer last year marked a new adventure for our oldest son, Matt, as he wed Kathleen Hubers.   The wedding was held at our place and we were blessed with spectacular weather, wonderful family and friends in attendance, and of course, watching our son pledge his life to his beautiful bride was both emotional and exhilarating.  We wish them all the very best as they start their new life together.

Our family is blessed to be part of the church family at St. Paul’s Leaskdale.  This is where we journey life together, with great community of interesting people.  Sharon and I really enjoy leading a “small group” in our home – it is great when our friends bring their families over – the laughter of youngsters around our home is something we never tire of.

It’s hard to believe we have one child married, one graduating from Queen’s, one soon to start their university experience (after 4 years of playing Junior hockey) and the youngest now with his license.  No more driving children for Sharon!  A new stage of life has begun!
